Clinique High Impact Lip Color

I went to my Clinique counter at lunch the other day looking for lip products that have some staying power. Clinique makes two lipsticks that are consider "longer-lasting" and the one that's promoted as an 8-hour listpick is their High Impact Lip Color.

Clinique has some very versatile and beautiful lip colors, and it's no different with their High Impact selection. I recently purchased Extreme Pink (electric hot pink--I think it's more of a blue pink) and Rosette (golden rose--I think it's a warmer rose). Along with the soft rose Quickliner lip liner--which amazingly matches both of these colors really well--the lipstick is assured to stay on longer than usual.

The feel of the lipstick on the lips is silky and very light, yet the pigmentation is excellent and the color amazing both in natural and artificial light. I experienced no feathering whatsoever even using the lipstick on its own without the lip liner.

After eating and drinking there remains a sense of color, much like a stain--ever more important to make sure you get a color that works with your natural coloring.

These are pretty colors and not drying (though, of course, this varies by person). These lipsticks and the lipliner can be good tools for makeup for special events like weddings (bride or guests) and for long business meetings or even conferences.
