Handling Stress

It's perhaps not proven by scientific surveys and data, but stress plays a MAJOR role in our well-being, energy, and even beauty regimen. If you're pressed for time you will look for shortcuts to save time while still looking presentable.Your skin will react with acne or other hormonal symptons (dryness, flakiness, dullness, slower turnover, etc.). You'll even not be paying attention to eating complete, whole meals when in a hurry and with pressing matters on your mind and on your "plate."

But it's exactly when one's stressed that s/he needs to slow down and take action to compensate and remedy the extra high stress levels.

There's a great quick little article on More magazine's website today, titled Help for Handling Stress. It pays off to understand the cues our body is using to tell us we need a break or we're pushing too hard.

Be happy and healthy!
